A two-headed comedy nightmare, co-existing as Kristen Buckels and Lacey Jeka. Over the years, they’ve conned their way into performing at the likes of theaters all around New York, frequenting The Bell House and headlining festivals, with trysts in LA (The Comedy Store) and around the tristate area opening for Colin Quinn on tour. Among others, their show THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS has helped raise money for organizations like Planned Parenthood, RAICES, The Environmental Defense Fund and Everytown. They’ve been featured in publications like The New York Times, Time Out New York and Nooklyn, to name a few.

They write, direct and perform sketch and stand up, often satirizing white feminism and dissecting their friendship for (occasionally) laughs. Their short film “No Man’s Land” is in post-production now.

If you have ever laughed at one of their jokes, even out of politeness, you are complicit in the making of the monster they’ve become.
